A loan of $500 helps to buy boxes of tomatoes, sweet pepper, carrots, as well as cabbage, lettuce, beets and radish.

Auxiliadora Isayana's story

For around ten consecutive years Auxiliadora has been making a living selling fruits and vegetables in a small stall in the municipal market. She gets up at five in the morning to go to her business, hoping to get the income to improve her and her family’s quality of life. She is a very responsible, honest and above all very hard-working merchant who graduated from the University with a Bachelor in Computer Engineering.

She already knows about the work of these two organisations because she previously obtained a loan with which she bought carrots, potatoes, onions, cucumbers and other home perishables. She wants to further establish her business, so much so that she has once again asked for a loan from these two organisations to buy boxes of tomatoes, sweet pepper, carrots, as well as cabbage, lettuce, beets, and radishes. In the near future, she plans to continue investing in her business to support her family.
