A loan helped to buy cheese, eggs, nuts, and other items.

Elvira Magdalena's story

Elvira is 53 years old and is divorced. She has three adult children. They live in the town of Jaramijo, Ecuador, which is known as a fishing cove. Elvira is a woman who, in the face of the current adversity facing the world, moves forward for the sake of her family. It is for that reason that she works selling beauty products by catalog as well as clothing. However, since the pandemic began, her business has been affected since she was no longer able to make sales. She decided to add to her business the sale of cheese, eggs, and nuts, and she goes out to make deliveries when her customers make requests. For her, this has been very hard since her sales are not the same as before, but she continues to move forward since this is the only way she knows to make a living.

This loan will be used to buy cheese, eggs, nuts, and other items. Her dream is that this pandemic will end soon and that things can return to normal.
