A loan of $2,150 helps to buy livestock to expand her animal husbandry business and sell more dairy products.

Bibihadicha's story

Bibihadicha is shown in this photograph. She is 31 years old and lives with her family in the Panjakent region. She is married with one son. Her husband raises livestock and grows crops.

Bibihadicha herself has been raising livestock for more than 11 years. She wants to expand her livestock business by increasing her head of livestock. Bibihadicha buys cattle from the animal market and fattens them up for 40-60 days, at which point she resells them at the animal market. Her husband helps her in this work.

She does not have enough money to buy cattle, so she has asked for a loan. It will help her move forward and expand her small business.

This loan is special because:

It supports the well being of women and their families.
