A loan of $5,050 helps a member to buy meat, baked goods, vegetables, condiments and other items.

Los Olivos Group's story

The group called "Los Olivos" is made up of women who are heads of their households and who fight for their loved ones. They all have their own businesses through which they support their families, but they have been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

One of the members is Lorena, who is also the president of the group. She is an entrepreneurial person who, with sacrifices, helps to support her home and her family.

Lorena says that she sells meals in her small restaurant. Besides, she also says that her business has been affected by the Covid pandemic since she cannot work normally, and so this has greatly affected her income. However, she does not give up, and she seeks the way to be able to stand out and improve.

She is requesting this loan to be able to buy supplies for making her meals, such as meat, baked goods, vegetables, condiments, and other items, in order to invest capital in her business so that she can build it up again.

Note: The photo shows only one person even though this is a group loan. It was not possible to obtain a group photo so as to avoid people from congregating during the COVID-19 pandemic.
