A loan of $1,500 helps to buy agricultural supplies.

Jorge Luis's story

Jorge is a man who comes from a family of farmers, and his family taught him to work the land. With effort, he acquired a plot of land so that he could launch his own business growing potatoes, carrots, broccoli, and celery. In his business, he relies on the help of his siblings. He has 20 years of experience in this business.

Agriculture is Jorge's only source of income, which is why he makes a daily effort to care for his various crops in the right way. This very optimistic man knocked on the doors of Kiva through MiCredito, confident that he would be granted financing to purchase seeds, sprays, fungicides, chemical and organic fertilizers, minerals, and other supplies to apply to his broccoli, potato, and carrot crops. In the near future, he plans to have more property and a greater variety of crops under cultivation.
