A loan of $4,975 helps a member to buy a variety of drinks to sell.

San Blas Group's story

This group called San Blas was formed by neighbors in the area of Caacupé. They seek a way to improve their quality of life and that of their families. For that reason they strive and fight to get ahead, so that their loved ones experience no need.

Among them Ruth is worth mentioning. She works selling drinks. Although her work is modest it has allowed her to help support her household and family. She says she gives her all in order to improve herself and continue offering her family everything she couldn't have.

Ruth is grateful for this opportunity she is receiving to continue in her work in order to meet the needs of both her customers and her family. She seeks this loan to invest in the purchase of a variety to drinks to stock her business. This will allow her to continue giving the best to her customers, and, at the same time, to help her family.

Note that only one person appears in the photo although this is a group loan. A group photo wasn't possible due to social distancing requirements in place because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
