A loan helped a member to buy rams to resell, in order to be able to support her family.

Benkadi Group's story

The woman in the photo with the ram is called Hawa. In the context of respecting coronavirus containment measures by distancing, she is representing the seven members of her group by presenting this work.

She is 41 years old and lives with her husband who is a farmer and her five children, three of whom go to primary school.

A model worker, Hawa is taking loans from RMCR for the purchase of animals (rams, sheep) at neighbouring markets. After a period of feeding and veterinary care, she resells her products in the same local markets.

With the aim of building up her work, she wishes to continue with RMCR to make more profit and support her children in attaining their educational objectives.

In this group: Chata, Hawa, Fatoumata Oussou, Alimatou, Setou, Worokia, Lassina
