A loan of $525 helped To buy small farm animals and nutritionally balanced feed for them.

Gladys's story

Gladys, 45, is married and lives with her husband and five children in Tranca Sasape’s Barrio Muro annex, a rural area of Mórrope district noted for having most of its population spread out in rural zones; it belongs to Lambayeque province and is an hour away from the city of Chiclayo.

For over 20 years she has farmed, especially raising animals like cattle and goats. When they reach an ideal weight she sells them to residents in adjacent areas and to merchants who visit the area. In addition, in the case of the cows, she also sells the milk they produce to her neighbors. These activities allow her to help her husband support the family; he earns his living as a farmer.

Gladys wants to improve the quality of her animals as well as the quality of the milk her cows produce. For this reason, she wants to provide them with balanced nutrition. To reach this goal, she is asking Edpyme Alternativa for a 1500 new sol loan.

Gladys is a hard-working and home-loving woman. She not only works on her home she also helps her husband with his farming chores.

She has collaborated with our Institution in the past and has shown herself to be punctual and responsible with respect to her installment payments.
