A loan helped to buy salad dressing, clothes, perfumes, sheets and other products.

Violeta María's story

Violeta María is a widow and she has 4 adult children. They live in the city of Tosagua, a place where agriculture and cattle raising are the primary economic sources; and like the rest of the country it is very affected by the impacts of COVID 19.

She is a hardworking woman that does what is possible to earn her resources and get ahead on her own. She earns a living selling salad dressing, spices, bed spreads, clothes, Yanbal products and other items. Before the pandemic, she had a shop in the local market, which she has not been able to open since the emergency began. Now she provides the salad dressing to a woman who sells from a cart in the city, and she continues her sales from her house and is hoping that things will return to normal so she can open her shop.

This loan is to buy salad dressing, clothes, perfumes, sheets and other products.
