A loan of $7,900 helps a member to buy wool wholesale.

Nayra Jiwita Group's story

The Nayra Jiwita communal bank, part of the Santiago II Agency, has eight members and is managed by a board of directors, of which Teofila is president.

Teofila is married and has two children. She has a business selling blankets. With this loan, she will buy wool from the wholesale suppliers in the city of La Paz, then make the blankets and sell them at her stand.

This work allows her to make money to support her family financially. Her dream is to expand her business. Teofila hopes that trust in her communal bank is restored.

Note: Because of Covid-19, only the board of directors is in the photo.

In this group: Juana Graciela, Maria Elena, Odalys Carolina, Paula Miriam, Teofila Maribel, Sara, Rosmery, Mariluz
