Alvaro Ernesto's story

Alvaro Ernesto is a businessman from the city of Barranquilla where for one year he has had a legally constituted business constructing residential buildings. He has three workers.

Alvaro started his business with all the knowledge he acquired from his father, who worked in the same field and who also helped Alvaro with capital to start his business. When he starts his construction jobs Alvaro helps the most needy families. He has gained a good reputation in his field for being a responsible and efficient person, who is effective in the services he provides.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic he had to stop his business due to orders from the national government and because of health issues. He is currently seeking his first Kiva loan, through the Fundación Mario Santo Domingo, to expand the work capital of his business and buy items such as N95 masks and gel, to pay for administrative costs such as public services, and to pay staff. Support him with this business loan.
