A loan of $1,050 helped buying manure, fertlizer, and insecticide for her fields.

Noemi's story

Noemí is 26 years old, lives in her own home with her husband Hilmer, who is 31 years old and a farmer. Together they have 3 young children. She is a very hardworking woman and has been farming since she was very young and now plants very good quality peas and potatoes. She enjoys her work a lot, since in the fields life is tranquil, she is able to cultivate her own land, confident that she will be able to collect a good harvest. Even though it is tiring work and she must make sacrifices, she doesn't mind, since she likes to waking up early every day and monitoring each plant, knowing that eventually they will bear fruit.

This is how this industrius woman spends her day, taking time to work without neglecting the care of her children. Furthermore, she sells all of the harvest to loyal wholesalers who offer good prices for her products. As an enterprising woman, in the future she plans to plant more crops to earn more income for the education and support of her children who are growing each day. Together with her husband she wants to offer them the best.

This will be her third loan with MFP and she is very happy with the performance of her community group because it is composed of very responsible people. Noemí is thinking about using the loan to buy manure, fertilizers, and insecticides to prepare her land for the next sowing.
