A loan of $1,375 helps to cover her laundry business obligations, such as paying her employees and her operating costs; and to buy supplies for her business.

Luz Adriana's story

Luz Adriana is an entrepreneur and a resident of the city of Cartagena. Seven years ago she started her own business called Marvel Rock Sas, which provides laundry services and apartment rentals. The idea arose because her legal representative is an attorney, and lives in an apartment complex where many people send out their sheets, curtains, and other items to be laundered. With her own capital, Luz decided to start a laundry, with customers such as hotels, restaurants, and studios, among others.

Her business currently has six employees. Accordingly, she is contributing to the generation of employment and income for their families. It is a business known in the city for its quality and good service.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Luz had to close her business temporarily due to directives from the national government. She is in the process of reactivating it, with all the pertinent security protocols. For that reason she is seeking her first Kiva loan, through the Fundación Mario Santo Domingo. She will invest the proceeds to cover her business obligations, such as paying her employees and her operating costs; and to buy supplies for her business. Support her with this loan.
