A loan of $700 helps to buy construction materials and a property in the center of the city to launch another ice cream business.

Moises Josue's story

Moises is a 39 year-old merchant. He has a university degree in tourism and hotel management. He was not able to find work in his profession, so he started up a business to earn money and improve his quality of life. He started selling food from his home, and over time he saved money and opened up a snack and ice cream shop. This business is his source of income, and his father provides him with unconditional support.

Moises knocked on the doors of Kiva and MiCredito, confident that he would be granted a loan to buy construction materials and a property in the center of the city where he will start up another ice cream business. In the near future, taking advantage of his knowlege of cooking, he plans to convert his business into a restaurant.
