Mutio's story

Mutio is a 49-year-old married man, who is blessed with four children. He has a retail shop in a slum called Kwa Reuben. He has 10 years of experience in the business. He also runs a boutique to earn a living. He was previously employed before he went into business. He intends to add maize flour, cereals, cooking fat and sugar to his stock and to expand his shop. Therefore, he has requested a loan of KES 90,000 from Faulu Kenya. For him to take out this loan, he has been guaranteed by his group members under Faulu Kenya. He is a hardworking and visionary man who hopes to open a wholesale shop in the future.
