A loan of $875 helps to increase working capital and to buy supplies like chemical products, jars, lids, brooms, rags, spatulas, and other items.

Alan Jose's story

Alan, age 26, is a young businessman who lives with his wife in the city of Barranquilla. He has a business of selling and making personal care products there. Alan Jose started this business over two years ago. With this he was able to give his family a better quality of life and to help his life partner with the household expenses.

He has gained recognition in the area for being a responsible person who is very committed to his work. He sells his products every day for cash and on credit to people in the neighborhood. Due to the consequences of Covid 19, he had to suspend his work because of health and safety issues. His financial activity deteriorated.

He is now requesting his first Kiva loan with the Fundación Mario Santo Domingo in order to increase working capital and to buy supplies like chemical products, jars, lids, brooms, rags, spatulas, and other items. He will do this in order to increase the number of sales and to increase his profits. Please help him with a loan for his business.
