A loan of $1,350 helps to increase her working capital and to purchase creams, keratin, hair dye, and more.

Yolima's story

Yolima is an enterprising woman, 34 years old, a resident of the city of Barranquilla, a place where she lives with her spouse. There, she also has a beauty salon as a business. Yolima began this business approximately 12 years ago, work that she began with the desire to improve her quality of life and that of her family and to be able to get her household ahead.

The lady currently offers products daily to her neighbors, relatives, and people nearby to whom she offers them for payment in cash and on credit. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, she had to suspend her work for health and safety reasons. Her income reduced drastically and she has been affected greatly financially.

Currently, she is applying for her first Kiva loan, with Fundación Mario Santo Domingo, to increase her working capital and to purchase creams, keratin, hair dye, and more to bring them to a greater number of customers and increase her sales levels. Support her in her business loan.
