A loan helped a member to pay for plastic chairs, televisions, and mattresses to sell.

Faraja Group's story

Ms. Pascaline is a client of the microfinance institution HEKIMA and presides over the 'banc villageois' names “FARAJA”. She is 34, married, and the mother of four children, who are all in school. Her partner is a baker.

A vendor of various goods, she began this enterprise eight years ago with startup funding from her husband. Later on, she joined the Hekima program to support her enterprise and has made progress within it.

With this new loan, she is going to stock up on plastic chairs, televisions, and mattresses. This will serve to bolster her initial capital. The challenge in her business has to do with damaged appliances.

She would like to feed her family and to have her children continue with their schooling. So she wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for supporting business owners lacking cash during this global crisis related to Covid-19. The photo features only the group leader because of Covid-19.
