Teresa started her food business eight years ago and is now in her eighth communal bank cycle. She is a founding member of the Compromiso Group.

The borrower sells food a block away from her house in the Nueva Esperanza neighborhood where she is known by her neighbors; her business is doing very well and is growing little by little. She also caters for social events.

Her dream is to have a close-knit family and own a restaurant with its infrastructure where she can make a variety of dishes.
