A loan of $1,825 helps to buy oil, meat, rice, beans and more.

Lourdes Elizabeth's story

Lourdes, 34, is married with a ten-year-old son. Her husband is a fisherman; they live in Manta, a beautiful city on the Pacific coast in the southern region of Manabí province, known for its lovely beaches and exquisite cuisine. The area has been hard-hit by Covid-19.
˜
Lourdes likes to work to support her household, so five years ago she opened a business preparing and selling lunches and snacks (fish, rice, shrimp, vegetable stew, soups, chicken and more). She works from Monday to Saturday; because of the pandemic her sales have dropped somewhat, and because of that she has begun a home delivery service.
She will use the loan to buy oil, meat, rice, beans and more, to grow her business.
