A loan of $1,350 helps to increase working capital and to perform mechanical maintenance on the truck.

Eraclio Yeicol's story

Eraclio is a 33-year-old micro-entrepreneur. He is a resident of the city of Barranquilla, a place where he lives with his wife and where he also owns a ground freight transportation business. Eraclio Yeicol started this business about 5 years ago due to the lack of job opportunities. With some savings he decided to buy a cargo truck because it would provide good profits. He decided to start that business and he has earned a good reputation for the good, efficient and effective services he provides. He offers his services to his main clients for cash payments or on credit. Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, he had to suspend his services due to health concerns and by mandate of the national government. He is currently managing his first loan with the Mario Santo Domingo Foundation to increase working capital and to mechanically maintain the truck for better service delivery and to increase the number of services and his income.
