01_ Dolele Jigueen Group's story

Comprising of seven women, this group was founded in May 2018. The members all live in the same area and are very close. The Dolele Jigueen Group has already benefited from two loans, which they have repaid quickly. The members of this group work primarily in commerce.

Madam Mame Aïssatou is the group representative. She is 34 years old and can been seen in this photograph with her hand raised. She is married and the mother of two school-age sons.

Madam Mame Aïssatou has a small business transporting merchandise by motorcycle and works in the city. She began this business because she was a chauffeur, despite her short- term experience in this sector.

With this loan she plans to purchase a new motorcycle, which will increase her business and bring in more revenue. Her job allows Madam Mame Aïssatou to increase her savings and help her husband cover family expenses.
