A loan of $700 helps to buy a new cart and to prepare it.

Silvio Alejandro's story

Silvio wakes up at 5 in the morning every day to prepare masa (dough), cheese, yeast and to make pupusas. When it is 6 in the morning, he sets out walking through the streets with his cart offering his product. His business is well-known by his customers due to the exquisiteness of his merchandise.

Silvio's three sons are what motivates him to carry on. He is very committed to their well-being. He fights every day to bring them food.

Silvio has turned to loans from these two organizations in order to buy a new cart and to prepare it in order to gain access to more entrances. Silvio, in the not far off future, hopes to launch a business selling dairy products and to count on the support of Kiva and MiCrédito.
