A loan of $2,850 helped a member purchase materials for manufacturing sports balls.

Kolla Marca Group's story

The “Kolla Marca” Communal Association meets every two weeks at the Alto Lima Community Center. They joined together in order to access the capital needed to improve their businesses. The members of this Association have different businesses in the manufacturing, service, and retail sectors.

One clear example is Florencia P., who is 43 years old. She recalls joining the Pro Mujer family six years ago after being invited by a friend. Florencia manufactures balls and plans to use her loan to buy imitation leather, bladders (the core of a soccer ball that holds the air, usually made of latex or synthetic rubber), and hemp in bulk so that she can continue producing her products.

Florencia enjoys going to the Pro Mujer sponsored clinic because she receives health advise for herself and her family.
