A loan of $325 helped boosting her working capital.

Absa's story

Ms. Absa D. is a 53-year-old woman and a fighter.  She has been advancing in the restaurant sector (selling breakfast and lunch) for eight years.  In the past, she used to sell rice at the Autonomous Port of Dakar.  Since there is no more market, she started working in food catering.  Her greatest interest in this business is hygiene and cleanliness, which she ensures for her customers.

She is requesting a loan of 150,000 francs CFA for buying an inventory of rice and some sugar for business purposes.  This will enable her to buy at wholesale prices and to increase her profit margin.

Ms. Deng is married and the mother of seven children, who are supported by her financially.  She has been a member of the Ouakam branch office for five years.  She wishes to boost her ability to cope with family needs.
