Mujeres Unidas Group's story

There are 17 women who comprise this group with the purpose of helping their families and giving them a dignified life without hardship. All of them are enterprising and persistent women who look for a way to support their households and families through their incomes.

One of them is Basilia, who has a humble grocery store in her house. With her work, she has been able to help her loved ones to cover their basic needs and provide everything that they need. Basilia mentions that she has not been able to work as usual do to COVID-19. The complete quarantine has affected her business and thus her incomes, but in spite of that she looks for a way to succeed and improve her business.

She is requesting this loan to buy products for her grocery store such as baked goods, vegetables, fruits, canned products and other supplies in order to continue with her sales as she has done so far.
