A loan of $650 helps to buy pandanus for her weaving business.

Ane's story

Ane is 40 years old. She has been married for twenty years, and she is blessed with eight children.

Ane runs a weaving business, and she is self-employed. She weaves taovala and fihu with white pandanus. She sometimes use brown pandanus, but she mainly use white pandanus only. Ane sells her weaving locally and also overseas. She is very committed to her business and wants to hold on to it.

Ane applied for a loan to buy pandanus for her weaving. The more pandanus, the more weaved products and the more money earned. She pays for her children's school fees with money earned from her business. Their next plan is to send their children for further education overseas, and they are working towards their dream.
