A loan of $5,375 helps a member to buy fabric, thread, and additional products.

Victoriosas Group's story

The group named Victoriasas was formed when friends and neighbors in the city of Asuncion got together. They are seeking ways to improve their quality of life and that of their loved ones. They are in their 7th cycle with the women's committee program.

One of the members is Cinthia, who works making dresses. She is a hardworking person who struggles for a better quality of life for herself and her loved ones. Cinthia comments that due to the Covid-19 pandemic her business has been affected and so has her income. She is fighting for a better quality of life for her loved ones so that they do not have to experience hardships.

She is requesting this loan for the purchase of fabric, thread, and additional products so that she can continue with her work as she has been doing. She is grateful for the opportunity she is receiving to improve, grow, and keep building her business.

Note: Only one person appears in the photo, but this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo due to the necessity to avoid crowding people together during the Covid-19 pandemic.
