A loan of $7,850 helps a member to buy underwear, shoes, and clothing.

Monariya Group's story

The group called Monariya was formed when friends and neighbors got together and set a goal of growing, not only economically, but also personally, so that their loved ones do not have to go without.

One of them is Lisa, who makes a living selling underwear, clothing, and shoes. This work is her way to generate the means to help her household and family. She is a selfless person who, in spite of the daily difficulties, is looking to improve herself and be able to offer her family a dignified life.

She comments that her business has been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, but she is looking for a way to better herself and grow so that she can get ahead. She is requesting this loan for the purchase of more underwear, footwear, and clothing, so that she can keep her business going and even build it.

Note: Only one person appears in the photo, but this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo due to the necessity to avoid crowding people together during the Covid-19 pandemic.

In this group: Lisa, Alicia, Graciela, Idalina, Cinthia, Esmelda, Elena, Tatiana, Betiana, Florentina, Vidalia, Laura, Julia, Laura, Liz, Fermina, Maria, Cintia, Dominga
