A loan of $3,700 helped a member to purchase a motorcycle.

Mirembe Katenga, Kyenjojo Group's story

Hardworking M. Lawrence started up his motorcycle transport business four years ago. As motorcycles are a very common means of conveyance in timely situations like traffic jams and bad road systems in Uganda, he has made good profit out of it, earning 200,000 Ugandan shillings. Lawrence’s main setback is that he needs to expand the business through buying additional motorcycles to allocate them in different stages so as to increase his revenue. With this loan he hopes to achieve that and thus will be able to take care of his family.
