A loan of $1,600 helps to purchase merchandise.

Anita De Jesús's story

Anita is a very hard-working woman, 53 years old, who lives in the city of Ibarra, Imbabura province, with her spouse. She has 2 children who live in the city of Quito for their education.

Anita is a teacher and, to help her spouse with the household expenses and their children's education, she also has worked for some years selling jewelry and cosmetics.

Due to the health emergency, Anita has not been able to work normally and had to invest a part of her working capital in household expenses. For this reason, she asks for a Kiva loan to be able to activate her business again, since she has a lot of experience in sales and has orders waiting for her customers.

Anita is very grateful for the help which Kiva offers her to reactivate her business and, so, to improve her family's income.
