Laura Vanessa's story

Laura Vanessa is a 20-year-old entrepreneurial micro-businesswoman, resident of the city of Cartagena.

She owns a hardware store and has 1 year of experience in this activity. Her business idea arises when a family member who owned this business moved to another country. Laura Vanessa saw the opportunity to take over this business and become a young independent woman on the job. She is recognised for being a very kind person and for offering quality products. Her customers are general public, acquaintances, and passers-by. Her goal is to expand the store to access more customers and increase her income.

Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, she had to suspend her work and her income decreased dramatically due to health restrain reasons. She is currently requesting her first Kiva loan with the Mario Santo Domingo foundation to invest in the purchase of general hardware products such as sand, cement, screws, paints, among others.

Support her loan for her business.
