A loan of $625 helps to buy compost and fertilizer.

Jesus Maria's story

Jesus lives in the Jamaican village with his wife and children. His primary income comes from growing coffee. He grows good quality coffee as it provides him with suitable aid, which he then sells at an excellent price. He is very responsible in the community.

He is requesting a loan to buy fertilizer, de-weed his crops, and buy compost to have a very good harvest.

He is very happy with the kindness and good treatment he has received from Prisma and Kiva and thanks you very much for the support received in the middle of the pandemic. His dream is to have a good harvest.

This loan is special because:

It has a below-market interest rate and is repaid at harvest, when farmers can more easily repay.
