A loan of $2,900 helps a member to buy sheep for resale.

Sella Congol Demara Group's story

Ms. Diouly is holding the sheep in her hands in the photo. She is the leader of the group 'Sella Congol Demara' in the Fula language, which in English means 'Always keep your word'.

Diouly is 38 years old, married and a mother of 6 children aged 2 to 17 years, including four who go to school. Her partner is a farmer. She is engaged in the livestock business like 8 other members of the group. She has lots of experience in this field having been in it for more than 8 years.

This loan is intended for all members of the group. Diouly intends to buy sheep to resell in due time. She wants to expand her livestock business so that she can serve her entire locality during big festivals like Tabaski, Karité and other major events.

The profits Diouly will make from this business will enable her to pay her children's school fees. Having enough money is the only problem she faces. She contributes greatly to her children's survival.

In this group: Diouly, Ibrahima, Fatoumata, Salimatou, Hery, Moussou, Tening, Haminata, Mouna
