Rafaela Margarita, who is in the skirt in the front of her group in the photo, is 66-years-old and lives in Telica, Nicaragua. Sixteen years ago, she became a widower and is now the mother and father for her 10 children. Rafaela is a responsible and hardworking woman. She achieved preparing two of her children to become nurses.

Rafaela has a general store, but her dream is to have a distributor to secure her in her old age. She was worked for 20 years with loans from Pro Mujer.

She will use a new loan to buy a showcase and personal hygiene items. She will also buy basic grains to restock her general store. Rafaela has seen her progress and how her life has improved. She remembers the days when she could barely feed her 10 children. The loan will give provide her with her own economic independence and this makes her happy.
