A loan of $9,125 helps a member to purchase a variety of clothing, footwear, and more.

San Vicente Group's story

The San Vicente group is in its eighth cycle of the women's committee program where almost all of them work and help each other get ahead in life. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, their businesses were affected, and so were their incomes.

One of them is Graciela, who helps support her home and her family through her efforts and her continued work. She sells all types of haberdashery items, and she says that her business tries to have all types of products in order to attract more customers. She says that her business suffered losses due to the pandemic, but she is looking for a way to lift it back up again in order to continue helping her family.

She is requesting this loan to purchase a variety of clothing items, footwear, and more in order to continue with her work like she has been doing. She is thankful for the opportunity to receive a loan and therefore get ahead in life.

Only one person appears in the photo, but this is a group loan. It wasn't possible to take a group photo because of the need to avoid a mass of people due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In this group: Maria, Graciela, Nancy, Marcelina, Selma, Noelia, Mirian, Juana, Deisy, Lucia, Lorena, Rosa, Epifania, Patricia, Carolina, Nancy, Lidia, Nilsa, Lucia, Andrea, Alma, Jorgelina, Susana, Mayra, Maria, Amalia, Isabel, Yenifer
