A loan of $175 helped to buy ingredients for her meals and soft-drinks.

Amelia's story

Amelia, 41, is separated. She has three children: Anderson, 15, David, 7 and Alex, 5. They all live together in their own home. For over four years she has sold prepared meals in a small stand she rents near a medical center. She provides breakfasts, lunches, soft-drinks and sweets which attracts many customers and this is an advantage to her with respect to profits.

She enjoys her work because she can work peacefully and she has made some good friendships in the area, among them, her regular customers.

Amelia opens for business very early in the morning because she knows she must prepare breakfast; at lunch time she’s busy taking care of diners who come to enjoy her delicious dishes and in the afternoons things are a bit quieter and she only sells soft-drinks and other small items.

For the future she would like to enlarge her establishment and will buy more tables and chairs to do so in order to provide more comfort for her customers.

This is her first loan with MFP and she assures us that she will be punctual with all her payments. She will use the requested funds to buy soft-drinks and ingredients to prepare her meals.
