Narcisa Angela's story

Mrs. Narcisa belongs to the Los Bajos de Montecristi Communal Bank in the province of Manabí. She was born in this lovely region, surrounded by much vegetation and tourist attractions for locals and outsiders.

Narcisa is married, 38 years old, and has 2 children. She graduated very young from beauty school in the city and after dedicating herself for 5 years to practicing what she learned, she decided to open her own beauty shop in her house. There she cuts hair, tints, and does permanents and make up. She constantly attends seminars to learn more about the latest tendencies in beauty.

Narcisa has been married 20 years and her husband helps her a great deal, understanding that she loves the work. She has been expanding her shop, thanks to the initiative of a friend who recommended her to the Foundation and motivated her. She has now completed 8 loan cycles, working with ESPOIR.

With this new loan, Narcisa will be able to buy products like shampoo, tints, make up and other things needed in her beauty shop. Her busiest day is Saturday and on other days, she goes by request to her customers' homes.

Her dream is to be able to have a more complete beauty salon in the city of Manta.
