Ouro I Group's story

Paula (first from left to right) is the group leader. She and her son live in a small house in a community in Santo André, São Paulo.

Paula used to work as a cook at a business near her home, and she always dreamed of starting her own business. She really identifies with the profession and she loves cooking.

After she became unemployed, she saw the opportunity to begin living her dream. With money she received from the company where she worked, she bought some merchandise and decided to begin producing and selling boxed meals at her house. She sells lunches and dinners.

Gradually, she got new client recommendations and expanded her clientele. She rented a small space and she makes boxed meals for delivery only. She and her son work hard to offer their customers excellent culinary experiences.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, she stopped sales for three months. However, she needs to go back to making boxed meals in order to have income again. She is requesting this loan to invest in rice, beans, pasta, and meats.

She dreams of opening a restaurant.

The group members thank their investors.
