A loan of $1,025 helped to buy cereals.

Némè's story

This lady is widowed with 3 children and, in order to provide for her family, began a business in 2005 selling cereals that are widely used in Togolese cuisine. Her energy has resulted in her earning new clients everyday. She gets her supplies in the interior of the country, more specifically in the town of Notsè. Wanting to increase her stocks of merchandise, she is seeking a loan through WAGES (one of Kiva's field partners) to buy 8 bags of maize, 3 bags of beans, and one-and-a-half bags of millet, and to pay for the transportation of these goods.
