A loan of $3,950 helps a member to buy a variety of drinks.

Primavera Group's story

The Primavera group was formed by friends and neighbors from the Caacupé neighborhood who are working to improve their quality of life and that of their families. They are applying for their 7th loan as part of the women’s communal bank program. They are all looking to improve their lives.

Liz is a group member who earns her living by selling a variety of drinks. She says that she only makes a modest living from her business, but despite this, she won’t give up as it has allowed her to support her family and provide them with what they need. She is a strong woman who makes the sacrifices necessary to improve herself every day.

Liz says that the COVID-19 pandemic and quarantine has seen businesses closed which has affected her as she has been unable to work.

She is applying for this loan in order to buy a variety of drinks as this will enable her to stock up, maintain sales, and support her family.

Note: Although only one person appears in the photo, this is a group loan. Due to the restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was not possible to have a group gathering.

In this group: Salvadora, Arsenia, Carmen, Alejandra, Máxima, Liz, Dora, Lidia, Gloria, Lourdes, Brisa, Gladys, Lelis, Rocio, Cecilia
