A loan of $2,850 helps a member to purchase shirts, pants, blouses, T-shirts, shorts, and other items.

Las Mujeres Vencedoras Group's story

The Mujeres Vencedoras group was formed with the union of friends and neighbors of the city of Villarrica. The members are looking for a way to be able to improve their quality of life, and they are in their second loan cycle with the Women’s Program Committee.

Andrea stands out among them. She makes her living selling clothing, and she says that each day she strives to get ahead and continue helping her family through her work. She says that her sales were slightly affected due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but despite this, she is seeking a way to improve herself, and in this way, be able to increase her business a little and continue supporting her family.

She is grateful for the opportunity she is receiving, which will enable her to strengthen her business and meet her needs.

She is requesting this loan to purchase a variety of clothing for sale such as shirts, pants, blouses, T-shirts, shorts, and other items to be able to continue with her sales.

Note: Although this is a group loan, only one person appears in the photo. Because of the need to avoid crowding due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a group photo was not possible.

In this group: Andrea, Avelina, Agustina, Ursulina, Wilma, Cynthia, Teresa, Zulma, Francisca, Liz, Olga, Ramona, Diana, Miguelina
