A loan helped to buy more vegetables for her home-based pickle making and selling business.

Yasmin's story

Yasmin is a 38-year-old Syrian married woman and a mother of 5 kids. Her husband works at a pet shop and the salary he gets is not enough to cover the family's basic needs, so she started a home-based pickle making business to help her family with a second source of income. It's now the best time to sell her pickles and she needs more vegetables to make them, but since she lacks the financial resources, she decided to ask for a 500 JOD loan. She hopes that she can provide her kids with a better education and that she can buy a house.

This loan is special because:

It gives opportunity to Syrian refugees who have fled the war in Syria.
