Yesid Leopaldo's story

Yesid Leopaldo is a 30-year-old micro-entrepreneur, a resident of the city of Barranquilla, where he lives with his spouse.

He has a business selling flooring and veneer products. He started this work approximately 8 years ago with the desire to generate an income that will help him to give a better quality of life to his family.

His spouse and a niece help him in the business with hours of operation from 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. every day. He offers his products, such as floor tiles, porcelain tiles, ceramic, and more.

His goal is to increase his stock and sales. His customers are referrals, family members, and neighbors from the sector.

Owing to the Covid-19 pandemic that occurred worldwide, he had to close his business due to biosecurity issues and his income drastically diminished.

Currently, he is managing his first Kiva loan from the Fundación Mario Santo Domingo to increase the work capital and invest in the purchase of flooring, veneers, tiles, ceramic flooring, and marble, among other types of flooring and cement.

Support him with this loan for his business.
