A loan helped to stock up on rice.

Ericka Aracely's story

Ericka Aracely and her family live in Jaramijo, known for its pretty beach that bathes the coast of this lovely place. Most of the residents are very hardworking and dedicated to fishing in the sea.

Ericka Aracely is a determined woman who, despite the difficult situation, makes efforts to give her children what they need. This is why daily she fights to earn her own income, and at the same time to be able to support her husband with household expenses. For this reason, she works selling rice by the "quintal" [weight measurement], bag, or pound. Her business was affected by the pandemic. Her sales declined and she did not earn much income. She hopes that all this will end soon, to continue increasing her business.

She will invest the loan in stocking up on rice. Her dream is to have her own shop so that her business could continue growing.
