A loan of $1,000 helps her to buy shampoo, detergents, rice, beans, sugar, oil, cheese, chicken and sweets.

Meybelin Azucena's story

At 36, Meybelin has two financial activities, the first one being the production of piñatas and the other one her grocery store, which she has moved ahead with great effort. In her businesses, she has her family's unconditional support. She is a merchant who has become the fundamental pillar for her three children, and she is well known by her customers for her smile when she assists them.
This merchant has requested a loan from MiCredito together with KIVA to buy shampoo, detergents, rice, beans, sugar, oil, cheese, chicken and sweets. In the near future, Meybelin plans to change her grocery store into a distribution center.
