A loan helped a member to buy salted fish which will strengthen her initial capital.

Bonheur Group's story

Madame Jeannette is a client of Hekima IMF and she is the treasurer of the BONEHUR village group. She is 60 years old, a widow, and the mother of 4 children, 1 of whom is in school and the other 3 have finished their education.

She sells salted fish for a living and started her business in 2004 with start-up funds that she received from her children. Later she got involved with the Hekima program to support her business, which has grown gradually over the years. With this new loan she plans to buy salted fish, which will strengthen her initial capital. The challenge to her business is the shortage of customers.

Madame Jeannette would like her child to remain in school and be able to support her family. Finally, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they have provided to owners of businesses that have no cash value during this covid-19 global crisis. The photo shows only the leader of the group on account of covid-19.

In this group: Jeannette, Seth, Bernadette, Elysee, Stephanie, Charles, Beatrice, Suzane, Anuarite, Salome, Fabrice, Rosine, Matisho, Deogratias
