A loan helped a member to buy soft drinks and make ice cream. A small portion will also be used to buy clothes to sell.

Geovann Group's story

Hazel del Socorro (third woman from left, wearing a grey shirt and pink slippers) serves as president for communal bank Geovann. For almost 10 years, she has worked thanks to funding from Pro Mujer. Her husband is a mechanic and she lives with their five children in Managua, Nicaragua. Hazel has sold clothing for five years, but the coronavirus pandemic has made it necessary for her to diversify her business.

She is requesting a loan to buy soft drinks and make ice cream. She will also use a small portion to buy clothes to sell. Women like Hazel like to be independent and be their own boss but they need loans to continue pursuing their ventures. Support them!

In this group: Hazel Del Socorro, Zuyen Kharitzonne, Zujeyx De Jesus, Hayzell Yessenia, Cruz Marina, Maria Cristhina, Dayana Isabel, Candida Ligia
