A loan helped a member to buy vegetables, fruits, cleaning products and paint to spruce up her store.

San Isidro Labrador Group's story

The group called San Isidro Labrador is in its second cycle of the Women's Committee. It was formed by a group of friends and neighbors who made it their goal to be able to grow, not just financially, but also as as people so that they could continue giving the best to their families.

Rafaela is one of the members of the committee. She works very hard to help support her family with a small store she has in her home. She says that she started with very little but has been improving her business through hard work and daily effort. She does it so she can give her family everything she was never able to have and to ensure that they have no unmet needs.

She is requesting this loan to buy vegetables, fruits and cleaning products as well as paint to paint her store.

Note: Only one person appears in the photo but this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo to avoid a large gathering due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
