A loan of $1,150 helped purchase compost & fertilizers for her coffee crop.

Elcie's story

Elcie H. M. is 44 years old, married, and lives with her husband and two children (ages 20 and 15). Her loan will be used for attending to her farm, specifically for growing coffee. She plans to buy compost and fertilizers so that she can adequately maintain her coffee crop in order to obtain better quality and the best price when it is time to harvest. This is her first loan with FUDECOSUR and she is very happy with the services that have been provided.

Doña Elcie has been farming for many years. She hopes to provide a better quality of life and greater financial stability for her family. In addition, she wants to continue growing as a person and as a producer.
